Acrylic is the ulitmate contemporary medium on which to display your art both indoors and outdoors. We offer two acrylic art products at Picture It PhotoArt; Acrylic Floats and Acrylic Panels:
Acrylic Floats
Our 5mm Acrylic Float is a stylish alternative to a print in a frame. The picture is printed to the reverse of the acrylic and backed with white. It comes complete with hidden fixings that make the picture appear to float 10mm away from the wall. Your acrylic float comes ready to hang on the wall
Acrylic Panels
Acrylic Art Panels not only look great indoors but it are simply stunning in your garden. We currently sell two styles of acrylic panels; one for wall display (shown below and suitable for indoor or outdoor use) and larger panels that stand alone or as part of a screen or garden divide when supported by posts (shown right - fixings can be supplied). We print directly onto the reverse of the acrylic. Unless specifically requested we do not print white onto the acrylic which instead produces transparent areas where there is white in the original image. This produces an ethereal look and if placed in front of a wall the picture appears to float away from it. Acrylic in its nature can be damaged by the use of organic solvents, so it is strongly advised that solvent chemicals and abrasive cloths of any form are NOT used to clean the acrylic. This includes baby wipes, screen cleaners, polish, glass cleaners etc. The only liquid that should be used is warm slightly soapy water with a soft cloth. If being placed outdoors it is strongly recommended that all garden solvents, paints and jet washes are not used on Acrylic Art.
Our 5mm Acrylic panels have polished bevelled edges. Other thickness panels are available, please contact us for details. We supply the white back board to show your image to best effect where the background wall colour conflicts. Fixing is easy with the four corner spacers supplied. Unlike many current producers of pictures who bond a photographic print to the acrylic we print directly to the reverse of the acrylic thereby ensuring that the image will never peel off. The print is cured in place using ultra violet light. The printing process creates a layer of long lasting ink. The inks are light stable to a level that exceeds normal art printing processes by some margin. They can be hung outside and would be expected to last more than 4 years in an outdoor application, indoors we can expect a lifetime of vivid clarity. As with any piece of art try and avoid placing your Acrylic Art in direct sunlight for the maximum life.

Acrylic floats and panels are available in a variety of sizes, we advise if you are buying for outdoor display that you go bigger than you think you may need as pictures always look smaller in a garden setting. You can buy our acrylic panels with either an image from our gallery or printed with your own image. Ccustom sizes are also available so if you do not see the size you require on our prices page please contact us for a quote
